KAREN FISHER
I’m the author of A Sudden Country. A PEN/Faulkner finalist, Washington state Book Award Winner, and NEA fellow, I work as a developmental editor and novel coach, and have taught for UW Extension, NILA, and Fishtrap (two year-long courses in novel/memoir). My in-progress works include novel, memoir, nonfiction, poetry, and strange amalgamations. I make my home with children and horses on Lopez Island.
